Super Eagles Ready For Crucial AFCON Qualifier Against Benin

The Nigerian Super Eagles are ready to face Benin Republic in a crucial  AFCON qualifier today, November 14, at the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny in Abidjan, a venue that holds significant memories for the team.

The Super Eagles at the moment are poised for a crucial encounter, with just a point needed to secure their spot in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

As of today, 22 players have arrived in camp for the match, with the squad undergoing training sessions since Tuesday evening.

The final player, Spain-based forward Sadiq Umar, is expected to join the camp by Wednesday morning.

Among the 11 players who arrived on Tuesday are key figures such as team captain William Troost-Ekong, Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, and Alex Iwobi. They are joined by several others, including Olaoluwa Aina, Calvin Bassey, and the exciting new talent, Victor Boniface.

Earlier arrivals include Maduka Okoye, Wilfred Ndidi, and Kelechi Iheanacho, while Moses Simon, Samuel Chukwueze, and others have been in camp from the outset.

With the team’s focus on securing their AFCON qualification, all eyes are on the Super Eagles to deliver at the iconic Abidjan venue.
