As the investigations into the death of Tagbo Umeike continues, the Lagos State Police has reportedly invited singer Davido and Nollywood Actress Caroline Danjuma for questioning.

The Acting Commissioner of Police in the state, Edgar Imohimi, on Thursday said he had and met with Davido and other parties involved in the case.

Tagbo reportedly died on the eve of his birthday on Tuesday at a club in Lekki called Shisha Lounge.

Caroline Danjuma took to Instagram and made a post accusing Davido of dumping the body of Tagbo at the General Hospital after he had died in the singers car. The post was later deleted.

Davido later responded to Danjuma’s accusation through Snapchat describing the allegations as “false”.

However it was reported that during the meeting with Imohimi, Davido provided CCTV footage proving he left the club before Tagbo did.

According to LIB, when asked to comment about the new development, Caroline Danjuma reportedly said:

“I don’t have anything to share with you because I’m not the only one in this picture, there are family members involved, so I can’t just start sharing things with you without the approval of the family members, if there’s an approval, I’ll let you know.”
