Singer Tekno has apologised to the public over a controversial video that showed him with strippers dancing in a transparent truck.
A snippet of the video, which recently went viral on social media showed Tekno dancing with four strippers, spraying them with money and spanking their buttocks.
The singer and producer said they were shooting a music video and there was shortage of vehicles when they had to move locations.
The action is said to be against the Criminal Law of Lagos, Section 136 2015 which states that any person who commits any act of gross indecency with another person in public commits an offence and liable to a conviction to three years imprisonment. And Section 134(a) of the same law states that any indecent act in a public place makes both parties engaging in the act liable to imprisonment for two years.
Tekno took to his Instagram page to post a heartfelt apology to everyone who felt offended by the video.
