Timaya Laments Rising Costs As Music Video Production Reaches ₦100 Million

Nigerian music star, Inetimi Alfred Odom well known as Timaya has voiced his concerns over the skyrocketing cost of producing and promoting music videos in Nigeria.

The singer who spoke in a recent interview, highlighted how the costs have drastically increased over the years, stressing that while it used to cost around ₦1.5 million to produce a music video, the current cost ranges from ₦50 million to ₦100 million.

Speaking further, he revealed that the costs of promoting the videos are even higher, making it increasingly challenging for many artists to compete in the industry.
