The album which dropped on November 22, 2024, this 16-track masterpiece offers a profound blend of Wizkid’s signature Afrobeats rhythms with emotive melodies and heartfelt storytelling.
Interestingly, the album also serves as a deeply personal homage to his late mother, Jane Balogun, whose passing in August 2023 profoundly influenced its themes.
Wizkid shared that Morayo captures his reflections on loss, love, and resilience while celebrating life’s enduring beauty.
The album showcases stellar collaborations with global heavyweights such as Brent Faiyaz, Jazmine Sullivan, Asake, Anaïs Cardot, and Tiakola, further enriching its sonic palette.
