Nigerian musicians, Wizkid and Rema have gotten two nominations for the 2021 MoBo Awards for Best African act and Best International act.

Other Nigerian stars to get nomination for the Best African Music act are Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, Davido, Ckay, Tems and Tiwa Savage.

While Others African with nominations are Ghanaian highlife and afrobeats singer-songwriter, King Promise, and British afroswing collective group from East London, NSG.

The MoBo Awards is an annual British music award presentation dedicated to highlighting “Music of black origin” in categories of Hip-Hop, R&B, Soul, Grime, Jazz, Reggae, Gospel and generality of African Music.

The nominees list was revealed on Thursday, the 11th of November 2021 and the award show holds on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Coventry CBS Arena, United Kingdom.

Wizkid and Burna Boy last year won big at the awards which was streamed live on Youtube. Wizkid won Best African Act while Burna Boy won the Best International Act award.

This year, the Nigerian music stars were nominated alongside American artists Lil Nas X, Drake, Kanye West, Doja Cat, Megan thee Stallion and Polo G for the “Best International Act”.
