Anticipation is building among fans of Nigeria’s biggest reality television show as organisers of Big Brother Naija officially announced the commencement of auditions for the highly anticipated Season 11 edition.
MultiChoice Nigeria revealed that aspiring contestants can begin online registration ahead of the physical audition phase scheduled to start on May 22. The organisers disclosed that interested applicants must first complete the digital application process before being shortlisted for in-person screenings.
According to the audition guidelines, participation is strictly reserved for Nigerians aged 21 and above who possess valid identification documents. The audition exercise remains free of charge, continuing the show’s long-standing policy against paid entries.
Selected applicants will receive email notifications containing details of their audition venues and schedules after successfully completing the registration stage.
This year’s physical auditions are expected to take place between May 22 and May 24 in Lagos, Abuja and Enugu, as producers search for a new crop of housemates capable of delivering another memorable season filled with drama, entertainment and viral moments.
Prospective contestants have been advised to apply through the official Africa Magic BBNaija portal before the registration window closes. Organisers also warned that available slots are limited and applications could shut earlier than expected once capacity is reached.
The new season comes on the heels of another successful outing for the reality franchise, which has continued to dominate conversations across television and social media since its revival in 2017.
Over the years, BBNaija has produced some of the country’s most talked-about reality stars and influencers, transforming ordinary Nigerians into celebrities while shaping trends in entertainment, fashion and pop culture across Africa.
