Palmer Scores Four As Chelsea Beat Brighton 4-2 In EPL

Chelsea on Saturday beat Brighton 4-2 at Stamford Bridge in the English Premier League to continue their impressive performance under coach Enzo Maresca.

The Blues star, Cole Palmer with an outstanding performance in the match scored four first-half goals, including a stunning long-range free kick and a penalty.

In the seventh minute, Brighton’s Georginio Rutter put the visitors ahead while Palmer’s 11-minute hat-trick.

Another notable moment in the match was goalkeeping errors which were made at both ends, while high defensive lines and speedy counter-attacks contributed to a thrilling encounter.

Carlos Baleba scored a goal back for Brighton in the 32nd minute after a second error from former Brighton keeper Robert Sanchez.

Palmer exhibited his goalscoring prowess scoring the fourth goal, shortly before halftime from a perfectly weighted Jadon Sancho assist.

Palmer, 22, went ahead to make history, becoming the first player to score four goals in the first half of a Premier League match, almost adding a fifth in the second half but put the ball wide with only keeper Bart Verbruggen to beat.

With such result Brighton’s unbeaten start to the season has ended while Chelsea secures the third place on third table.
