Lagos, Nigeria – Following the success of its maiden edition, the Lagos International Fire Safety Conference (LIFSC) returns this year with an even more ambitious scope and a crucial theme: “Don’t Get Burned!”
Scheduled to take place from August 12 to 14 at the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos, LIFSC 2.0 is expected to attract over 2,500 fire safety leaders, experts, innovators, and stakeholders from across Nigeria and beyond.
The three-day event will address pressing fire safety issues, showcase life-saving innovations, and foster collaboration among government agencies, emergency responders, real estate developers, manufacturers, and civil society groups.
Organisers say the goal is to mitigate the alarming frequency of fire incidents, which continue to claim lives and property nationwide. Last year’s edition drew over 1,500 participants, setting the tone for impactful dialogue and policy advocacy.
“Fire disasters can be prevented when we invest in awareness, technology, and collaboration,” said the organisers. “At LIFSC 2.0, your safety is our priority.”
The conference will feature keynote addresses, technical workshops, panel discussions, exhibitions, and live safety demonstrations.
Registration is now open, and only a few exhibition slots remain. Interested participants can register, sponsor, or learn more via www.lifsc.org or call the numbers provided in the promotional materials.
