Nigerian superstar artist, Davido has announced that he will be releasing the deluxe version of his new album “Timeless”.
This news was revealed during a press conference on April 17, 2023 which was setup to brief the media on the plans of Davido’s “The Timeless Concert” set for April 23.
During the press conference Davido was asked questions about his latest album ‘Timeless’ and plans for his deluxe album.
He stated that the album is doing fantastically well and he wants to take his time to market the album before giving fans the deluxe.
“The deluxe is going to come out. People like all the songs on the album so we are figuring out how to promote all the songs on the original ‘Timeless’ before moving to the deluxe.”
Also at the press conference, Davido spoke about his forthcoming concert at the Tafawa Balewa Square and he told fans to expect an unforgettable experience.
Davido’s ‘Timeless’ has become Afrobeats’ record holder for the first week of streams across all major streaming platforms in Nigeria.
The album broke the first week’s records on Apple Music Nigeria, Spotify Nigeria, Boomplay, and YouTube. It also recorded the most first stream weeks in the history of Audiomack while also breaking the first-week streams of any African album on Apple Music.
