South African singer and songwriter, Tyla won the maiden edition of the Best African Music Performance at the 66th Grammy Awards.
She made history by beating Nigerian superstars Davido, Burna Boy, Asake, and Ayra Starr to the Best African Music performance for her hit single “Water”.
This is a huge win for the singer as this was her first nomination at the Grammys.
